Prism is a Littledata alternative if what you really need is attribution, not a better data feed. Littledata is a server-side data layer: it fixes the tracking that feeds GA4, Meta, Google Ads, Klaviyo and other tools, so their reports are more complete. It doesn't attribute orders itself. Prism is an attribution app that shows which channels and campaigns earned each Shopify order, and also sends missed purchases to Meta and Google. Prism starts at $29 a month for up to 1,000 orders; Littledata's Scale plan is $199 a month for 1,500.

If GA4 is your main report and you want it accurate, Littledata is one of the best at that. If you want Shopify-based attribution with your ad spend next to it, that's Prism.

Price at 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 orders a month

Littledata says you need to upgrade when you outgrow your plan, so check with them how Scale handles 5,000 orders. There's also a pay-per-order Flex plan at $0.35 an order, which suits very small stores.

Prism and Littledata, feature by feature.

Where Littledata is better

  • Fixing GA4. Littledata's core job is making Google Analytics match your Shopify sales, and it's well regarded for it.
  • More destinations on every plan. GA4, Meta, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Pinterest, TikTok, Klaviyo, Attentive and Segment.
  • Subscriptions. Recharge subscription data flows into your reports, which matters if a lot of your revenue is renewals.
  • Email and SMS tools too. It sends store events to Klaviyo and Attentive as well as the ad platforms.
  • A longer free trial (30 days) and pay-per-order pricing for small stores.

Where Prism is better

  • Attribution you can act on. Prism matches each Shopify order to the clicks and visits before it, splits the credit across channels, and shows revenue, spend and ROAS by channel, campaign and ad. Littledata leaves attribution to GA4 or the ad platforms.
  • Price. $29 at 1,000 orders against $199.
  • A profit view. A store P&L with product costs, shipping, fees and ad spend. It's a separate feature from attribution.
  • Cash on delivery and one-click checkouts. Pending COD orders count until they're cancelled, and attribution keeps working on GoKwik checkouts.

Which should you pick?

  • GA4 is your source of truth and you want it fixed: Littledata.
  • Subscription-heavy store on Recharge: Littledata, for the subscription data.
  • You want to see which channels and campaigns earned your Shopify orders, with spend and ROAS: Prism.
  • You want both: they can run together. Let only one of them send purchases to Meta and Google, or the platforms may count sales twice.

Switching from Littledata

If Prism's Conversion Recovery is replacing Littledata's Meta and Google destinations, turn Prism's on first, check purchases arrive in Meta Events Manager and Google Ads, then switch Littledata's off. Prism doesn't send data to GA4, Klaviyo or the other platforms, so keep Littledata or another route for those if you need them.
