Prism is an Elevar alternative for part of what Elevar does, so start with the job you need done. Elevar is a server-side tracking layer: it sends your store's events to Meta, GA4, Klaviyo and other platforms so their numbers are more complete. It doesn't tell you which channel earned each order. Prism is an attribution app that also sends missed purchases to Meta and Google. It starts at $29 a month for up to 1,000 orders, against Elevar's $225 Core plan for 2,000 orders.
If your problem is "Meta and GA4 are missing purchases", Elevar is a specialist at that. If your problem is "I don't know which channels and campaigns are paying off", you need attribution, and Prism gives you that plus server-side sending to Meta and Google.
Elevar is now part of Audiense: its parent company Buxton took the Audiense name, and Elevar's pricing now lives on the Audiense site.
Price at 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 orders a month
Elevar prices by orders and by the number of destinations you send to. Core and Advanced include two and four destinations; each extra one is $125 a month (pricing).
| Orders a month | Prism | Elevar |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 | $29/mo | $225/mo (Core, 2 destinations) |
| 5,000 | $99/mo | $650/mo (Advanced, 4 destinations) |
| 10,000 | $199/mo | $650/mo (Advanced, 4 destinations) |
Elevar's free Base plan covers 100 orders, then $0.75 an order. Expert installation is an optional $1,000 one-off. Core's two destinations go quickly: Meta and GA4 use both, so adding Google Ads costs another $125 a month.
Prism includes sending to both Meta and Google on every plan. Pricing section.

Where Elevar is better
- Many more destinations. GA4, Klaviyo, Snapchat, Impact, Outbrain and others (docs). Prism sends to Meta and Google Ads only.
- Deep control. Built on Google Tag Manager, with a full data layer, headless and API installs, and monitoring of how accurately each event is tracked.
- Consent tools. Integrations with Cookiebot, OneTrust, Usercentrics and Shopify's own banner.
- A long track record with a large base of Shopify stores and agencies.
- A free plan for very small stores.
Where Prism is better
- It answers the attribution question. Prism reads every Shopify order, matches it to the ad clicks and visits before it, and shows revenue, spend and ROAS by channel, campaign and ad. Elevar doesn't report attribution.
- Server-side sending included. Purchases the browser pixel missed go to Meta and Google Ads on every plan, with no per-destination fee. On Google, Prism also lowers a conversion's value after a refund or cancellation.
- Price. $29 at 1,000 orders, against $225.
- No Tag Manager skills needed. Install the app, connect your ad accounts, turn it on.
- Cash on delivery and one-click checkouts. Pending COD orders count until they're cancelled, and attribution keeps working on GoKwik checkouts.
Which should you pick?
- You need events in GA4, Klaviyo, Snapchat or affiliate platforms, with fine control: Elevar.
- You need to know which channels and campaigns earned your sales, and want Meta and Google to see missed purchases: Prism.
- Both problems, and a team that lives in GTM: some stores run Elevar for tracking and an attribution app for reporting. If you do, make sure only one of them sends purchases to Meta and Google.
Switching from Elevar
If you're replacing Elevar's Meta and Google destinations with Prism's Conversion Recovery, turn Prism's on first, check purchases arriving in Meta Events Manager and Google Ads, then switch Elevar's off. Don't run both sending the same purchases without a shared event ID, or the platforms may count them twice. Prism doesn't send to GA4 or Klaviyo, so keep another route for those if you need them.
